Mega Volume Lashes involve applying very fine, lightweight extensions in a fan shape to a single natural lash. This technique uses more extensions in the fan than typical volume lashes, creating a very full and dramatic effect.
Do not get the lashes wet for 24 hours
After the treatment unless your therapist has used Dlux Ultra Bonder then the adhesive is completely waterproof within 2 hours
Do not steam your lashes for 48 hours
This includes hot showers, sauna's, steam rooms and steaming facials
Avoid the use of oil-based eye products
As these products will loosen the bond causing the lashes to come off
Do not pull or rub your extensions
This can cause your natural lashes to fall out prematurely and cause both breakage and the permanent damage to the hair follicle
Clean your lashes regularly
Using a lash shampoo to avoid getting an eye infection
Do not brush the eyelash extensions when they are wet
Water adds extra weight to the hair when brushing wet lashes, you might accidently pull them out
Do not sleep with your face directly in the pillow
Please note that whichever side you sleep on you will experience more lash loss

While Russian Volume Lashes use 2-5 extensions per natural lash, Mega Volume goes beyond, using up to 16 ultra-fine extensions per lash for a more dramatic and dense look.
The application can take 2-3 hours due to the intricate process of applying numerous fine extensions to each lash.

Yes, like most beauty treatments, mega volume lash extensions come with certain risks and potential side effects, although they are generally rare and can be minimized with proper care and application. Here are the main points to consider:
- Allergic Reactions: Some people may be allergic to the adhesive used for lash extensions. This can cause redness, itching, and swelling around the eye area. If you have sensitive skin or a history of allergies, it’s important to discuss this with your lash technician beforehand. A patch test can be conducted to ensure you don't react adversely to the products.
- Irritation or Infection: Incorrect application or poor aftercare can lead to irritation or infection. It’s essential to keep your lash extensions clean and avoid rubbing your eyes. If you notice any signs of infection, such as persistent redness, swelling, or discharge, contact a healthcare professional immediately.
- Natural Lash Damage: If not applied or removed correctly, lash extensions can damage your natural lashes. This can result in temporary or, in rare cases, permanent lash loss. To avoid this, ensure your lash technician is properly trained and experienced, and follow their advice on maintenance and removal.
- Eye Strain or Discomfort: During the application process, keeping your eyes closed for an extended period may cause discomfort or eye strain for some individuals. If you experience any discomfort during the application, inform your lash technician immediately.
- Reactions to Remover Solutions: If you decide to have your lashes removed, the chemicals used in the remover solution can sometimes cause a reaction. It’s important to have lash extensions removed professionally to minimize this risk.
- Dry Eyes: Some clients might experience dry eyes after getting lash extensions due to the change in their eyelash dynamics affecting eye moisture.
