Avoid Getting Lashes Wet for 24 Hours
-
- Refrain from wetting your lashes immediately after the treatment, unless your therapist has used Dlux Ultra Bonder, which makes the adhesive waterproof within 2 hours.
No Steam for 48 Hours
-
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and steaming facials for the first 48 hours post-treatment.
Avoid Oil-Based Eye Products
-
- Oil-based products can loosen the adhesive bond, causing the extensions to fall off.
Do Not Pull or Rub Extensions
-
- Pulling or rubbing your extensions can lead to premature loss of your natural lashes and potential permanent damage to the hair follicles.
Clean Your Lashes Regularly
-
- Use a lash shampoo to keep your lashes clean and to prevent eye infections.
Do Not Brush Wet Lashes
-
- Brushing wet lashes can add extra weight and might accidentally pull them out. Wait until they are dry before brushing.
Avoid Sleeping with Your Face in the Pillow
-
- Sleeping with your face directly on the pillow can cause more lash loss on the side you sleep on.
Don’t Worry About Losing Extensions
-
- It’s normal to lose 2-5 lashes per day as each extension falls out with its natural lash during its growth cycle.
Avoid Perming or Tinting Your Lashes
-
- These treatments can weaken the bond of the extensions.
Do Not Use Eyelash Curlers
-
- Eyelash curlers can break the adhesive bond and damage the extensions.
Avoid Waterproof Mascara and Liquid Eyeliner
-
- These products can reduce the lifespan of your lash extensions.
Schedule Regular Infills
-
- To maintain your lashes, schedule infills every 3-4 weeks.
