Lash Extensions are synthetic strands, faux mink or silk fibers that are made to replicate a natural eyelash, available in different lengths, thicknesses, colors and curvatures. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. Single strands are applied to each individual eyelash about 0.5 – 1 mm away from your skin, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.

Yes, like most beauty treatments, russian volume lash extensions come with certain risks and potential side effects, although they are generally rare and can be minimized with proper care and application. Here are the main points to consider:
- Allergic Reactions: Some people may be allergic to the adhesive used for lash extensions. This can cause redness, itching, and swelling around the eye area. If you have sensitive skin or a history of allergies, it’s important to discuss this with your lash technician beforehand. A patch test can be conducted to ensure you don't react adversely to the products.
- Irritation or Infection: Incorrect application or poor aftercare can lead to irritation or infection. It’s essential to keep your lash extensions clean and avoid rubbing your eyes. If you notice any signs of infection, such as persistent redness, swelling, or discharge, contact a healthcare professional immediately.
- Natural Lash Damage: If not applied or removed correctly, lash extensions can damage your natural lashes. This can result in temporary or, in rare cases, permanent lash loss. To avoid this, ensure your lash technician is properly trained and experienced, and follow their advice on maintenance and removal.
- Eye Strain or Discomfort: During the application process, keeping your eyes closed for an extended period may cause discomfort or eye strain for some individuals. If you experience any discomfort during the application, inform your lash technician immediately.
- Reactions to Remover Solutions: If you decide to have your lashes removed, the chemicals used in the remover solution can sometimes cause a reaction. It’s important to have lash extensions removed professionally to minimize this risk.
- Dry Eyes: Some clients might experience dry eyes after getting lash extensions due to the change in their eyelash dynamics affecting eye moisture.
